The International Olympic Committee’s Executive Board in August recommended both for inclusion from a list of seven prospects. Golf got 63 yes votes and 27 no votes, IOC President Jacques Rogge said at today’s meeting. Rugby got 81 yes votes, and 8 no, he said.“In time, I think it will prove your votes were very wise,” Rogge said. “We all look forward to competition at the highest level in 2016 and 2020.”
